When is breaking the law justified?

Even though some people do not see the purpose of the government, there are some. The government makes sure murder is not a common thing by trying as hard as they can to prevent it. They make sure simple crimes don't go unanswered, and they make try to make sure the homeless are taken care of and have food. The government funds our school and they make freedom possible. If they weren't accomplishing these things and someone started a revolution i would join just because it would be for a greater cause. I personally do not believe breaking the law is ever justified.

A well ordered family response post

In this story sort of summary I learned that life in the colonies seemed very hard for everyone. Women had it very bad because in the story it tells " obey you husband, he is above you." I personally do not like that and think that all are equal men, women, black, white, and all other races. I don't believe that women should be above men either though. reading about how the men treated the women was probably the most surprising out of all of the things I read. Today instead of Africans being slaves they are considered fair and have all the same rights. Back then Africans were not allowed to learn how to read and write and they were not able to have any rights or freedom, like black people today.

Should I stay or should I go?

Illegal immigrants have so much to gain and lose when they come over to the United States. There are many reasons they do it too. I believe they come over here because there is much more freedom in the U.S. than in Other countries. I also believe they just want much more in their lives. When they come over, even though there is more freedom here, they lose their many of their rights, such as rights to vote, to have many jobs, many wonderful rights that legal U.S. citizens get they lose as they cross the border. They gain a beautiful new land, better living conditions, more freedom, and a much better life in general.

Personally I think I would more likely immigrate for almost the same reasons. The biggest reason I would immigrate would probably be because of freedom. If there is a problem with the economy or anything else it really would not matter much to me if I did not have freedom. I would lose many rights, but what kind of life can you lead with no freedom in it.
